Addressing Social Injustice and Racial Climate Within Schools 
Presented by Farzana Saleem, Ph.D., Stanford Professor

Topics to be covered: 

  • Understanding racial stress and trauma
  • Confronting and addressing racial bias 
  • Supporting Black and Latinx students during the current social unrest
  • Understanding and applying school racial socialization 
  • Promoting culturally responsive teaching and practices 
  • Recognizing and promoting students’ cultural and personal strengths
  • Advocating for and building systems change to promote equity on a school campus

Legally Defensible Practices with ED Assessment, Provision of ERMHS, and COVID-19 Updates
